Vítejte v České republice!!
We were on a 2 days trip to Czech Republic and our itinerary was
1) Prague
2) Karlovy Vary
After our 2 days in Czech, we headed to Netherlands and then to Germany.
Day 1 was to Karlovy Vary, an outskirt countryside from Prague in the Bohemian region and famous for its natural thermal springs, geysers and spas.
We booked a coach trip to this beautiful town and spent the day exploring the place, visiting the thermal springs, enjoying local food and lovely weather. In the evening, we drove back in the coach to Prague.
Street views from Karlovy Vary - we caught site of a few ISKON monks as well. The famous Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is hosted here.
Geothermal activities and hot springs are in abundance. Natural spring water is pumped out through taps and visitors can enjoy the same. There are several therapeutic spas also.
We then went on a guided tour to the source of the thermal activities underground and had a look at how the water gets pumped outside. Later we enjoyed the lunch and spa wafers and returned to Prague
In the evening, after reaching back in Prague, we roamed around the city and had a lovely time. There is well connected metro links for easy commutation and Praha (Prague), is a very charming place.
The next day was a walking tour of Prague.
Charles Bridge,Vltava River, Prague Castle, Astronomical Clock, Old Town Square, St Vitus Cathedral, Wenceslas Square... The city is very beautiful indeed and the view of the city from the Prague Castle is truly incredible.
