Welcome to Maldives!!
The lovely island of Maldives resides in the Indian Ocean and is indeed the best rated destination for wedding, honeymoon, relaxation with family
The best part is that the itinerary is so cool as the main travel aim is to relax in the serenity and peace of the lovely island. One would not have a long list of to dos and must see's when planning Maldives. All you would want to do is to book a lovely island resort and soak in the sun and sands.
We chose Kuramathi Resort, which offered us an excellent water villa for our stay.
Most of the island resorts are in secluded areas, hence we would need speed boat or sea plane to reach the destination from the Male Airport. We had to use both - sea plane from the airport followed by a speed boat to the shores of the Kuramathi Island.
The aerial view of the beautiful coral islands and resorts were awesome from the sea plane. We boarded the speed boat to land on the shores of Kuramathi, where we were given a warm welcome followed by check in to the water villa.
The resort offers beach side cottages and water villa; we chose water villa for the unique experience, and it was all worth it.
The itinerary was as simple as
1) Explore the island
2) Soak in sun and sands
3) Water games and pools
4) Enjoy the beautiful sea
5) Food and Drinks
You cant believe how pleasantly the time passes in the island of Maldives. The sky view from the water villa by night was so beautiful. Early morning, we enjoyed doing our regular yoga and suryanamaskar in the alley of the villa, facing the Indian Ocean followed by a nice walk along the resort. Maldives is a highly recommended place to visit. It may not be a budget friendly destination, however, this beautiful coral island in the Indian Ocean will make you feel the best for every moment you spend there.

Visa - On arrival for most of the countries. Please visit govt. website for more information
Currency - Maldivian Rufiyaa, however all major international currencies and credit cards are widely accepted in resorts
Best Time to Visit - November - April. Please have a weather check done for your month of travel as if its monsoon, you will remain locked in the resort room, which wouldn't be a pleasant experience at all
